A place to talk about things we want to and sound really intelligent when we do so. Big words earn extra points. Flashing around of credentials and sounding post-modern will like win you an award of some sort.
Sin Miedo ni Esperanza

A short Roman Sword defines my name. My favorite color is moreno and I like to wallow in the shadows. I love roses and growing them in gardens and harvesting them. However, too soon they wilt and only the memory lingers. But I'm free to pluck that memory when I want.

I consider myself a member of the illiterati. I have much to say, but little to back it up. Pretty typical of the basic Professor of Ancient Cultures, don't you think? My proclivities are not mainstream and my politics are convenient. You should see the crew I hang out with! This journal alone defines well their ethics.

I only write depressing things and only read unwholesome works. That's in vogue today. So I consider myself on the leading edge of the leading edge. I'm so leading edge I am common and base. Odd combination that might sound.

This is about the funniest thing I read today. Member of the illiterati! haha! I guess that's people who think that getting a word a day from the wordsmith will make them better writers? Keep on posting!

A professor of ancient cultures AND an anarchist? Am I reading this right?

So leading edge that you are common and base! Your turns of phrase are great. I wish I'd had you as a professor in college!

With a name like Gladio, you're asking if she's a Miryam? You mean like a boy named 'sue'?
